Procedure:
In a travel agency, the booking of a flight does not differ much from booking a package holiday. You tell the travel agent your desired date, perhaps the airline you prefer, the airport you want to depart from, and your destination. Due to the low costs per person, you mostly do not have to take out a travel cancellation insurance. Depending on how much time there is between the booking and the flight, you either receive your tickets by post or collect them at the airport on the day of your flight.
Advantages of the travel agency:
- The travel agent can take away possible insecurities.
- You can easily ask the travel agent all sorts of questions.
- It is more comfortable since you do not have to do anything yourself.
Disadvantages of the travel agency:
- Mostly, it is a little more expensive than the direct Internet booking.
- It is less flexible since you can't book a flight e.g. on Sundays.
