On the way from El Cotillo to Corralejo you will find the small village Lajares. In Lajares there are some little restaurants and shopping facilities. From Lajares you can go to excursions in the nature reserve near Corralejo or to the magnificent lagoon beaches of El Cotillo. A typical characteristic of Lajares are the windmills, which embellish the landscape.
